This tee captures the big idea behind my song Playing Hookey, that white Jesus is the mascot of racist theologies that have been passed down from colonizers of the 13th century to today, as evangelical megachurches. In the name of white Jesus, they stand against, or refuse to join, revolutionary racial justice movements. This tee is a call to break away from the colonizer's religion.
